    1. My all-time favorite movie: If I were to choose only film, it would be: "One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest” by Milos Forman for its timeless message, charm, humour, amazing directing and acting. 2. Films that inspired me to become a filmmaker: I was seven when I watched the original version of King Kong by Merian C. Cooper and Ernest Schoedsack from 1933. For many years this movie was my personal definition of cinema, as tale much bigger than life, where fantasy is superior

    1. My all-time favorite movie: De Tweeling, directed by Ben Sombogaart. An absolute masterpiece. Nominated for an Academy Award for Best Foreign Film (The Netherlands, 2002). Outstanding orchestral score by Fons Merkies. His brilliant theme remains in my heart until this very moment. 2. Films that inspired me to become a filmmaker: The Lord of the Rings Trilogy (dir. Peter Jackson, composer Howard Shore), Home Alone (dir. Chris Columbus, composer John Williams), The Chinese B

    1. My all-time favorite movie: Casablanca, followed by A Few Good Men - for different reasons. 2. A film that inspired me to become a filmmaker: Buckaroo Banzai, directed by W.D. Richter. A cult classic, it was made on a very low budget starring unknown actors who would later make it very big. I've watched it maybe 50 times. 3. Best movie I've seen in 2019: Haven't seen it yet. Currently too busy to go to the movies. But in 2018 I loved The Favourite, Beale Street, Black Pant

    1. My all-time favorite movie: A Walk to Remember (dir. Adam Shankman). I watched it about 10 times, and it's still heartbreaking. I also loved 50 First Dates (writer: George Wing; director: Peter Segal). I think it's one of the best romantic comedies ever made. 2. A film that inspired me to become a filmmaker: There were so many. One of the films that made me passionate about writing comedy was The Heartbreak Kid (dir. Bobby Farrelly, Peter Farrelly). I remember myself laugh
